Cinnamon Rolls

These rich and tender rolls have just the right amount of cinnamon and sugar, and the decadent cream cheese frosting is the perfect topping.


For the Dough:
2 tsp (9 grams) Dry Active Yeast, rapid rise preferred
2 Tbsp (30 mL) Water
1 cup (15 mL) Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 cup (236 mL) Whole Milk, warm (about 90-92 degrees Farenheit)
1/2 cup (100 grams) Granulated Sugar
6 Tbsp (84 grams) Unsalted Butter, softened
1-1/2 tsp (4.5 grams) Kosher Salt
2 each Large Eggs
4-1/2 cups (540 grams) All Purpose Flour

For the Filling:
1/3 cup (76 grams) Unsalted Butter, softened
3 Tbsp (19.79 grams) Cinnamon, ground
1 cup (165 grams) Dark Brown Sugar

For the Frosting:
5 oz (150 grams) Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup (114 grams) Unsalted Butter, very soft
1-1/2 cups (168 grams) Powdered Sugar
1 Tbsp (15 mL) Whole Milk
1 tsp (5 mL) Vanilla Extract
1/8 tsp (.575 grams) Kosher Salt

For the Egg Wash:
1 each Egg Yolk
1 Tbsp (15 mL) Whole Milk
